This is the Judicial Vicar, Father John Putnam, of the Diocese of Charlotte, N.C. I’ve been talking with him quite a bit this last few days. I failed to ask him about Maggie-May, the, uh…. dog…. I guess….
I mean, what kind of face is that for a dog?!?!? LOL!!!
I’m sure that that face would scare away a bear.
Laudie-dog can scare a bear, not because of her face, however. Her teeth, yes, but not her face.
But this, Maggie-May… O.K. Cute too, I guess…. Kinda…

Accompany me, Father George David Byers, S.S.L., S.T.D., as I begin life as a Catholic Priest-Hermit by choice. Holy Souls Hermitage is dedicated to the sanctification of my fellow priests, bishops, deacons & seminarians going through the purgatory of this life or the next. Prayer and sacrifice go up, of course, for both Benedict XVI and the next Successor of Saint Peter.

Maggie-May could help advise some in W.DC. on the wisdom of their agendas.
My daughter has a dog just like that. They kind of slobber and grunt a lot. When she goes out of the room the poor dog cries for her. But, she is cute, I guess. I love all dogs even if they aren’t cute.
Maggie-May eh? Sounds like a Rod Stewart song.
Maggie looks like she probably has a pedigree, My dog has a ped-disagree.
Hmmm…would this be a face “only a…..Father could love?”
Where did you get the “May” part of the name? Every time I try to pick on Maggie I get in trouble so be careful Father.
Brian: Yes, I’ve heard of your ringing the door-bell of the rectory just to see what Maggie-May does. Hah! Maggie-May is her full name, I’m sure.
Laudie is waaay cuter!
I was privileged to be present at Fr. Putnam’s ordination and First Mass.
Remember, All dogs go to heaven [Dogs don't have immortal souls. Animal souls, yes. But not immortal souls.], take lessons! [Now you're on to something. This is why Saint Francis loved nature. The natural obedience, so to speak, of creation is wonderful, and a good examination of conscience for us! And, yes, I agree that...] God loves that face and so do I! LOL
