Cardinal Arinze on the abdication of Pope Benedict XVI

The thing I like about Cardinal Arinze is that he speaks his mind. Someone once asked him about priests who won’t give Holy Communion to those who kneel. He said that not only should they kneel, but they should crawl up to the altar rail. Hah! This Cardinal just smacks down silly priests. That’s medicinal and charitable, by the way. It gets them back in shape. ;)  h/t to  Mulier Fortis

    Totally agree, love this guy clear and concise. Calls a spade a spade. Too bad he is so old he would be a good Pope I think.

    I love this man. He was “my” second choice for Pope; my first choice became Pope. I agree that he would be an excellent Holy Father
