Vertiginousnessization up top the bell tower of the Immaculate Conception Basilica in Lourdes! Yikes!

A great place to be a hermit! Chapeau to E McK!

One of the workmen points out some damage, perhaps from the 4.5 earthquake when I was a chaplain there. Yikes!

Great scenes in this short video. Brings back many wonderful memories.

    Watching the beautiful video of the basilica in Lourdes:
    Me: “Look at the beautiful view from the top of the tower!”
    My snarky teenager: ” Yep. I bet you can see all the mosques from there.”

    Refreshing to get a young person’s view of the state that the world is in, eh Fr?
