    Ah, Dr Lejeune! He was a dear friend of my late Spiritual Director and co-founder of American Life League with Judie Brown, who told me that ALL was Father’s brain child. Father told me that while Dr. Lejeune was working on a cure for Downs Syndrome, he would offer Masses on his behalf. Father founded Pastoral del Amor in 1983. He worked closely with Dr. Lejeune

    The people with Downs Syndrom I know understand love, truth and kindness. They do not seem to understand oneupmanship, political correctness or expediency. When you think about it in light of God’s commandments – you have to wonder – who’s handicapped here? Folks with Downs syndrom or normal (so we wish to think) people?
