   Father,

   The thing left unsaid is that NONE of the members of Congress or the Government are bound by this health care law. That in itself is astonishing that “We the People” should allow such a situation to happen!

   Deo volente: Yes, I’ve been thinking about that today, as have some others. What can “we the people” do when elected officials don’t think that government is “by the people”?

   I am a Catholic, a senior and a widow of a combat wounded vet and involved with many of those who oppose ObamaCare.
   In fact we will be showing not only the movie ’2016′ but also the ‘Determinator’ Saturday evening in our Senior Center. We need to get the word out how evil this program really is.

   Perhaps I’m too cynical about all this but I really don’t think any thing is left to us except to practice civil disobedience as much as we can and bear the inevitable injustices and evils that surely await us in this nation in the near future. I say we simply disobey no matter what happens and pray much that we may receive the grace to not give up the Faith come hell or high water. What’s the worst they can do, kill us? If we are faithful and in a state of grace we we end up enjoying the Beatific Vision after we die and being able to do a lot by praying in Heaven for our fellows still laboring in this place of exile so that they may receive the grace to persevere as well. Put not your trust in princes folks; or for that matter the Constitution. There is very little to fear in all this if we stick to our Lord and His Church.
