Such a storm!

I have to wonder if I’ll have to be doing some repairs to the roof when the storm departs over the next day or so. Crash, smash, BANG! Sounds like big branches are hitting the hermitage. And it will get worse it seems, by about mid-morning.

    I must thank God with all my heart. We had a terrible wind storm with heavy rain . There are many great big, old trees in our neighborhood. (over 20 in our yard alone) I prayed the storm prayer and, God is so good, the tree next door was blown down but landed safely in the branches of another tree.
    It knocked down power lines in the yard and took out the neighhood power, but the untility workers safely got the tree down and restored the power with no damage to any of our homes. They worked over 8 hours until after 2 AM. They worked in heavy wind, rain and the dark. May God bless and protect them.
