…then I would be as sick as a dog for about this whole past week. Feeling a bit better now. Sorry to have been a bit slow with emails and blog posts.
UPDATE: Just when you think you’re getting better, smacked down again. The heel of the leg which had the pulled calf muscle last week is now swollen up. To be expected, I suppose. The achilles tendon is connected to both, right? So, that’s O.K. Still exhausted and a still a bit feverish from being sick the past week and a half. But, getting better. All the projects are on hold, however. But I did feed the chickens.

Accompany me, Father George David Byers, S.S.L., S.T.D., as I begin life as a Catholic Priest-Hermit by choice. Holy Souls Hermitage is dedicated to the sanctification of my fellow priests, bishops, deacons & seminarians going through the purgatory of this life or the next. Prayer and sacrifice go up, of course, for both Benedict XVI and the next Successor of Saint Peter.

I’m sorry, Father. Extra prayers coming. God bless you!
Hi Father George,
Prayers for you to feel better asap.
Diane
Hi Father George…I’m so sorry you aren’t well! I didn’t think you sounded like your perky self lately. You worry too much about us and should be looking after yourself for a change. I’m sorry I can’t be much help but you are kindly in my thoughts and prayers. Take care Father…God bless you!
Father, prayers coming your way that you will be very fine soon.
Praying and hoping that you feel better soon!
Lawrence Welk the bandleader used to say ” keep a song in your heart ”
at the end of all his TV shows . I’ve always thought this to be good advice.
So how about singing this one if you know the tune .
” I know whom I haved Believed ” by Daniel W. White . It is Timothy 1:12
