Ad orientem at Holy Souls Hermitage

Just before Holy Mass, ad orientem, in the Extraordinary Form, on the 11th Sunday after the Octave of Pentecost, 2012, at Holy Souls Hermitage.

  • But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and at once there flowed out blood and water (John 19,34).
  • They shall look on Him whom they have pierced (John 19,37).
  • Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, every one who pierced Him, all the tribes of the earth will wail on account of Him. Even so, Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, who was and who is to come, the Almighty (Apocalypse 1,7-8).

Jesus, I trust in Thee!
