“I shall return” and I have!

 Scroll down for new posts.

As the comment box says, this is The General, and he said, famously, “I shall return!”

Back again. Good to be back.

    Fr. Byers,
This election unfortunately comes down to two realistic choices. Choice #1 is a wolf and makes no bones about it. Choice # 2 has changed his positions on the policies important to us. I believe he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing and will say what ever it takes to be elected.
Full disclosure I am a police officer for more than 24 years and am very cynical. One could probably vote for choice # 2 in good conscience. I unfortunately can not. Santorum was my only hope.
    Saint Michael the Archangel…

  2. fxr2 — I bet you’ve seen quite a bit in 24 years of questioning various individuals. Yikes!

Am I the only person who has no idea who is in the picture and consequently do not know what he said. Perhaps you could enlighten us Father because it is obviously important.

Move your curser onto the picture and you will see who but I too do not know what he said. Maybe Father will finally tell us.

I was very young in WWII! He is obviously an American soldier or airman but still none the wiser.

Someone didn’t pay attention to their history lessons if you don’t know Gen. MacArthur and his famous quote, “…I shall return…”

Thanks for going on retreat and thanks even more for coming back from retreat.

I also just got back from retreat today. I had to leave Mass with the nuns right before communicating (I hated doing that, but I was worried I would miss the train). Got to the train station and the train was delayed two hours because of the storms yesterday. Got home in time to make evening prayer and Mass at the local Capuchin parish, and afterwards got to venerate a relic of Padre Pio and talk to a Sister of Mercy of Alma. God is good!
