Philip is launching himself into the blog more than ever, and it will be a joy to accompany him while he remains, for now, a seminarian with brain cancer.
But just before you go there… say a Hail Mary or three for him right this minute… Hail Mary…

Accompany me, Father George David Byers, S.S.L., S.T.D., as I begin life as a Catholic Priest-Hermit by choice. Holy Souls Hermitage is dedicated to the sanctification of my fellow priests, bishops, deacons & seminarians going through the purgatory of this life or the next. Prayer and sacrifice go up, of course, for both Benedict XVI and the next Successor of Saint Peter.

Prayers increasing for Philip as we speak. I’m already hearing back from people on my email list who are happy to pray for him again. They are inspired by his struggles and his faithfulness. God bless him and his tumor. (I know that sounds strange, but his tumor has to have been a blessing in so many ways.)
Gosh, I hope that doesn’t sound awful. I hope and pray his tumor goes away very soon!!!!!
I prayed some Aves first time I read this post yesterday and praying some more now for Philip.
full of grace…
