From an email from one of the many cloistered nuns right around the world who are graciously praying for this poor nothing of a hermit priest:
I saw on your blog the name of Fr MacRae and his good works so I click on and what I saw made me so sad and helpless in the sight of such an injustice not only from outside but within the Church and it is shocking. I could not sleep until late thinking of how he and other innocent priests are suffering from such horrendous accusation. I am praying much for them. [...] he is very much in my prayers. Our procurator general has told us that the real martyrs of our times are not dead yet they are still alive. they are priests who are barred from their priestly ministry because of false accusation that were unfounded but the legal and canonical processes were flawed. He has helped so many priests in canonical processes and also was sought of in reappeal cases. He came to defend the last case in [...] that finished [...] and he said if this very last case is flawed and the accusor a liar so what about the long lists of all the other cases. He is the best civil and canon layer anyone could have. He loves the Church and we are sure his name will live on as one of a God fearing man that loves priests and did a lot to defend them when they are falsely accused.
So Father I am asking a favor from you if you can. I would like a copy of the Catholic priests falsely accused by E. Pierre, Jr. would you be so kind to buy it for us [...]. I will be ever so grateful. People need to read this book and see the drama these priests are going through and pray for them and the Church.
I added two copies of this to the Amazon wishlist to remind me toa get it (since I can’t solicite donations under the oppresive Obama administration, not to mention two copies of the companion volume.
Some people wrongly imagine that the stone walls of falsely accused priests are made out of the mill-stones they imagine to be tied around their necks. Instead, such stone walls are spiritually made out of altar stones, the rock of Calvary, even The Rock, who is Christ Jesus inviting his beloved priests to be with Him on the Cross. Christ was falsely accused. As the Master, so the disciple.
This is the Altar Stone Father K.L. of Holy Family parish provided the hermitage. Sometimes people think that such accusations will dissuade youngsters from following a vocation to the priesthood. Instead, as we have seen, there is an enormous explosion of good vocations. They are willing to go to the Cross immediately. Our Lord is so good and so kind!
So take a look at my Amazon wishlist, click on the logo in the sidebar widget (on the blog) or on the Benefactors Page. If that gives you trouble, search for my wishlist on Amazon using “george david byers”.
UPDATE: O.K. So, that took about thirty seconds. Those items are now being sent to the hermitage. Thank you, L.F.! And that means that the wishlist has only two items left on it. I’ll have to beef it up a bit should we get any more requests like that! Thank you!
UPDATE: O.K. So, that took less than a day to get delivered and be on it’s way to the nuns! Thanks!
